We needed dog friendly. There was no where for thw dogs to use the bathroom. There was a huge amount of trash beside the hotel, old mattresses, box springs pieces of broken furniture.

The bed was amazing!!! Wonderfully comfortable, and clean. The shower was amazing, when there was hot water. When we tried to shower, around 7am, the water wouldn’t get hot. The TV didn’t work, well, none of the outlets in the sleeping area worked. None of the lamps worked due to the outlets. The only light was above the sinks, and the bathroom. The only outlet that worked, was on the counter. At 8pm, the hot water was wonderful!! One of the best showerheads I’ve seen at a hotel. It was super quiet the whole time we were there.

It was decent for the price, the staff was nice. The rooms look outdated but it wasn’t bad. The room was clean. I didn’t feel unsafe. This hotel is in a great location.

Wonderful service, quiet location, family operated. Peaceful stay. Rocking chairs on porch added more home like feel to my stay. Rachael went out of her way to make everything as perfect as possible. Everyone was friendly. Definitely will stay here again

We stayed here once before, about 2 years ago and we loved it!
So when we decided to book a room for a couple of nights during this trip to the Great Smoky Mountains, we decided to stay here again.
We always get a room with a hot tub, and we were worried this time around based on all the bad reviews and comments since our last stay.
Thankfully we decided to stay and see for ourselves if the place had really gone that much downhill since our last visit, and I’m glad we did, because the bad reviews are very unwarranted.
We still loved this hotel, and we will stay again on a future trip.
Our room was clean, the hot tub was very relaxing, the staff was very kind and we had a good experience. Again.
Ignore the awful reviews and judge it for yourselves.
It’s a great hotel for the price, and in a great location. We love the Bear Mount Inn!

We’ve stayed her twice. I think some of the other reviewers must be nitpicky Karens or racist or narcissistic. The only issue we had is we had to call a number and wait 10 mins for them to arrive to check us in. The lady that checked me in was friendly and apologetic. An actual adult realizes that they are not the center of the universe though: I imagine these reviewers must’ve had some minor inconvenience then because they have no sense of morality lied like toddlers. I stripped the bed down to its mattress, I observed no bedbugs nor did I get bit by anything. I checked the dark recesses of the room as we arrived and did not observe any other bugs. We had donuts sitting out overnight even.
Occasionally I observed a minor literal bit of dirt but honestly even my home has that and I don’t have 100 rooms to clean.
Okay, enough combating the Karen’s malicious and petty lies; we will definitely stay here for a third time. We had the King sized bed and hot tub room. It was a fantastic trip that we will remember for a long time. The TV can be turned so you can soak and watch some of your favorite shows together. Each room has its own rocking chair outside the door. The bed was comfy and conducive to sleep. The room is big and has a love seat as well. We spent the entire time in our room but it is close to everything you might desire. There are several amusements and restaurants with walking distance. Just across the street is an arcade, children’s rides and gokarts and a convenience store. Immediately preceeding the parking lot is a Krispy Kreme.
For as affordable as the rooms are this is a fair deal and definitely better than most I’ve stayed in at this price range. We saw a few people but never had an issue with noise either time we’d stayed nor have we encountered a pet.
We prefer to stay here when we want a quick getaway to Pigeon Forge and will definitely be back for a third time in the near future.

RoomsThe King Sized Bed Hot Tub room has a comfy bed. The hot tub is older with the controls as a turn knob on the wall but was as relaxing as the newer models. You can swivel the TV to watch while you are in the hot tub. The bathroom has a shower/bath tub with the toilet in its own little recess a few steps away. There was a coffee machine with plenty of free coffee, a microwave and a larger minifridge. There is also a love seat and desk space with a chair.
Nearby activitiesAn amusements center with go karts, children’s rides and more directly across the street.
WalkabilityNear and connected by sidewalk to all sorts of shops and restaurants and amusements.
Food and drinksSeveral drink machines on the property are $2 but many selections were sold out. There is however a convenience store across the street and a Krispy Kreme on one side of the lot.

I mean you get what you pay for. Most hotels in pigeon forge are about 200$ a night, but this one is right there near all the action and they are very pet friendly and for half the cost of the other hotels you can live comfortably. It was just me and my husband. And I mean there were a little concerns but I think it was just because the building is a little old. I would suggest though that perhaps trying to replace some of the fridges. Like me and my husband we just brought our cooler cause I kinda figured it’d be like that. But it was very spacious. We also brought our own blankets and pillows. But the TV was really big and worked good. As did the wifi. I think it was a very nice stay and the people upfront were very considerate. Like I said you get what you pay for. It’s very convenient as it’s on parkway. Id recommend it if you are trying to budget.

I read the reviews prior to booking this hotel but decided to chance it because it was affordable with a jacuzzi tub and conveniently located for our planned activities. I felt this hotel was just fine for my needs.. I would definitely consider this hotel for my next stay in Pigeon Forge! I have paid more and definitely had worse in the past! Some people seem to nitpick every single little thing.. but of course if you are expecting a five star hotel on a two star budget you may be disappointed..!
